How does I use the tape seal on the Bed Bug Solution mattress protector?Updated 15 days ago

The BugStop Seal® is designed so you peel the paper liner off and then press the entire adhesive strip down over the zipper end to seal it.

Here’s the quick step-by-step:

1. Zip all the way to the end so the zipper pull fully enters the small fabric “tunnel” at the end of the zipper. This positions the pull correctly and closes the micro-gap. Bargoose Home Textiles, Inc.

2. Peel the paper liner off the BugStop Seal® (the washable tape attached at the zipper end)—no cutting is needed. 

3. Press the adhesive strip flat over the tunnel/zipper end, smoothing it onto the surrounding fabric. Rub firmly for a few seconds so it bonds well. The whole strip should make contact—not just the tip. 

The BugStop Seal® is washable and reusable once it’s pressed down firmly, on our Stretch Knit Elite, Hybrid, and Box Spring Mattress Encasements (Vinyl is not machine washable).
