While our 100% cotton and organic cotton mattress protectors are breathable, they are not waterproof. If you need something waterproof, we have a few suggestions.

1. Place a waterproof mattress pad like our Deluxe Waterproof Pad on the mattress and then encase both with a mattress protector.

2. Use one of our BedBug Solution® Elite mattress protectors. They are waterproof and protect against allergens and bed bugs.

3. If waterproofing is needed for a short period of time or for pets, placing one of our washable incontinent pads under your fitted sheet and on top of your mattress protectors works great.
